PU Engineering Sdn Bhd was initially established as Perunding Utama in Kuching in 1976, commencing its practice as a registered multidisciplinary consultancy group providing professional services in Architecture, Engineering and Planning. The firm was recognized as the first local Bumiputra multidisciplinary consultancy group established in Sarawak, marking an important milestone in the development of professional consultancy services within the region.
In March 1995, following a corporate restructuring exercise, PU Engineering Sdn Bhd was formally established as a Civil and Structural Consulting Engineering firm. This restructuring enabled the company to further optimize its existing resources, technical expertise and professional capabilities in specialized consulting engineering fields. Since then, the firm has continued to uphold its commitment towards delivering quality, innovative and reliable engineering solutions that contribute to the successful completion of projects of various scales and complexities.
